I brought out my new kayak for a test paddle on Gonogawa today. We arrived at the river around noontime, with my kayak in the bag, and spent the next hour trying to figure out how to set it up. (It was the first time, after all...)
The factories and construction equipment on the riverside made for an interesting background, but we had a good time paddling around. We are all really looking forward to our next kayak trip. Maybe next time we will drive inland and do an all-day down river trip.
